There are lots of foods around that, while delightful, are incredibly bad for you. While we can acknowledge some of these foods on sight--most of the food you'll order at a fast food restaurant, for example, is quite enjoyable to eat but will do terrible things to your body and is made of far too many calories to even be considered healthy.
 
But how about those foods that look like they need to be totally fine to eat? What about the meals that you purchase for your kids? In this article we'll be checking out some of the absolute worst foods that you could ever feed to yourself or other people in your family.

One of the worst things in the world, believe it or not is a dish of macaroni and cheese. The sort you produce at home all on your own using the boxes of Kraft or Annie's should be mostly okay but most of the time the macaroni and cheese you order from restaurants is not. To work with one critical example: the macaroni and cheese dinner for kids from the California Pizza Kitchen is incredibly unhealthy.
 
This one food weighs in at more than a thousand calories, more than sixteen hundred milligrams of sodium and almost forty grams of saturated fat! That seriously isn't even a tiny bit healthful.

How often have you purchased one of those frozen pot pies from the grocery store? On the exterior these seem like good, healthy last minute dinners or lunches but the fact is that most of them are loaded with extra calories. The pot pies by Stouffer's, for example, usually contain more than eleven hundred calories, more than sixty grams of fat and almost eighteen hundred milligrams of sodium. If you are trying to shed pounds you could wind up eating all of your daily calories with just this one food item!

You most likely think that a vegetarian sandwich has to be among the healthiest things you can order from a fast food place, right? The real truth is that these kinds of sandwiches are frequently dressed with dressings and other condiments which contribute to making them just as unhealthy as a meat-based sandwich.
 
The vegetarian hoagie out of Blimpies, for example, contains almost twelve hundred calories, sixty grams of fat and more than thirty five hundred milligrams of sodium. Why do individuals believe that is healthful?

A salad should be wholesome, right? This is common thought anyway. When we are craving something healthy and quick, we usually look for a salad to help fill us up with food that is good for us. You will likely be surprised to find out, then, that there are some salads that are quite unhealthy. There are eighteen hundred calories in the Santa Fe chopped salad offered by TGI Fridays.
 
This is almost definitely because of the fact that this particular salad is the size of a large dinner plate, but think about it seriously: if you're on a diet do you want almost all of your daily calorie allotment to come from a single salad?

The truth is that the vast majority of food that we buy on the go or in restaurants is simply not going to be as good for us as the food we make ourselves. Sure cooking food at your home can be a pain or feel monotonous, but if you're watching your weight and trying to stay healthy, it is the best thing you can do for yourself!
